In the heart of Brașov’s historic center, in a building rich with history — the former bread factory — we created the interior design for a restaurant that blends a passion for wine and traditional cuisine in an elegant and welcoming atmosphere.

The restaurant is composed of several rooms, each with a clearly defined purpose, yet all connected through the central bar area. This becomes the focal point of the entire space. The area is perfect for live musical performances, serving as the heart of the atmosphere.
We added grapevines to the ceiling of the bar to create a connection to wine. This brings in both a natural and symbolic element. The red lighting highlights the color of wine and creates a warm, evening ambiance. The combination of these details enhances the tasting experience and offers a pleasant setting.

Another area of the restaurant is the entrance hall, overlooking George Enescu Square, which we envisioned as a space dedicated to brunches and relaxed gatherings. In contrast, the farthest room was designed as a private dining area, perfect for special events, offering intimacy and an exclusive atmosphere.

During the renovation process, we discovered surprising details every day. After removing the plaster, we uncovered the old brickwork, which we preserved and used as an accent on the walls, adding authenticity. We restored wooden elements such as the ceiling and kept the original window details to preserve the building’s history.
Every detail was carefully integrated to maintain the charm and historical character of the space. In doing so, we managed to blend the past with the present, creating a place with a unique atmosphere.
